Kuan Yin

This is spiritual pilgrimage to the Heart of Compassion. We will visit a land where Kuan Yin, the first lady of compassion is revered in temples, cities, and homes
We will stay one night in a Buddhist monastery on Mt. Koya. Walk through the Okunoin Cemetery. This cemetery lies in the middle of a forest of majestic cedar trees, and the roughly 200,000 graves contain some of the most famous figures in Japanese history.
We will then explore beautiful temples and gardens in and around Kyoto; including temple of 1001 Kuan Yin statues of Sanjusagendo and the beautiful Ryonanji Zen Garden. We will explore the world heritage town of Nara and take a train to the mountain village of Kurama.
